Sports Rules

Scope and Application

These sports rules govern the settlement of bets placed on Rkgg for sports events. They apply to all sports offered by Rkgg unless a sport specific rule states otherwise. Where a governing body or official competition rule exists, that rule governs settlement for the relevant event.

General Settlement Principles

Bets are settled on the official results published by the event authorities. If an event is cancelled, suspended, or postponed and not resumed within the time window published for that event, bets on that event are void. Where no such window is published, the bet is void if the event does not resume within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.

Soccer Rules

  • The settled result for soccer bets is the official result after 90 minutes of play plus injury time. Extra time, golden goal or penalty shootouts do not affect settlement unless the governing rules for the event specify otherwise.
  • If a match is cancelled, suspended, or postponed and not retrieved within 24 hours after the scheduled start, the match is void.
  • If the referee signals the regular end before the 90 minutes are completed on the scoreboard, the declared result at the time of stoppage is valid.
  • Matches played as nonstandard durations (for example 2x40 minutes) are treated as void unless a governing body specifies otherwise.

Tennis Rules

  • If a player withdraws or is disqualified before the start of a match, bets related to that match are void. If withdrawal or disqualification occurs before a player’s first match of the tournament, bets on that player winning the tournament or reaching a phase are void.
  • If a match is scheduled on a surface different from the one published by officials, the event may be deemed void.
  • In doubles, if at least one of the four players retires before the match starts, all bets on the event are void.
  • If a match that is scheduled as best of five sets is played as best of three, all related bets are void.

Basketball Rules

For basketball bets, the valid score includes any overtime. Bets are settled on the final result including overtime unless the governing rules specify otherwise.

Ice Hockey and Handball Rules

  • The outcome of ice hockey and handball matches is determined by the final score excluding overtime and penalties unless the governing rules state otherwise.

Baseball Rules

  • The outcome of the bet is determined by the final result including any extra innings for the official game result. Games are deemed official after 8.5 innings unless weather or other interruptions require continuation elsewhere within a 12-hour window; if the game is interrupted and not resumed within twelve hours or if the score is tied at interruption, bets are void.
  • When two games involving the same teams are played on the same day, only the result of the first game is considered for settlement unless the governing body specifies otherwise.

Volleyball Rules

Volleyball bets are settled based on the final result of a match played as best of five sets. If a match is postponed or interrupted, bets remain open until the event is completed.

Motorsport Rules (Formula 1 and Motorcycle Racing)

  • For Formula 1, bets are settled using the first published official results. A race is void if cancelled or interrupted and not resumed within 72 hours from the official start time.
  • If a race is abandoned before 75% of the planned distance is completed, the event is deemed void, even if subsequent classifications are published.
  • Decisions by race officials that affect grid positions or starting status before the end of qualifying do not affect bets on pole position. A driver unable to participate in the main race after qualifying renders related bets void.
  • A participant in a warm-up lap is considered to have participated in the race for betting purposes.
  • For motorcycle racing, bets are settled on the first published official results; later decisions by race authorities do not affect settled bets. A race is void if cancelled or interrupted and not resumed within 72 hours.

American Football and Rugby Rules

  • American football bets are settled on the official result including any extra time unless stated otherwise.
  • Rugby bets are settled on the regular time result unless the event rules specify additional play or times.

Winter Sports and Cycling Rules

  • Winter sports (alpine and Nordic skiing, ski jumping) bets remain valid if the event is suspended or postponed and completed at the same venue within 72 hours; if the event moves to a different venue, bets are void. If a competitor does not start, related bets are void. In alpine duels, the winner is determined by the number of completed runs; if the scores are equal, the bet is void.
  • Cycling stage races that are postponed or interrupted remain running until completion or official cancellation; single-day races are void if cancellation or interruption is not resolved within 72 hours of the start time.

Cricket and Snooker Rules

  • Cricket results are determined by the official result; if no result is declared, bets are void. If the match is postponed or interrupted and continued within 48 hours, bets stand; otherwise, they are void. In the event of a draw, bets on the match outcome are lost.
  • Snooker events: bets remain open if the event is postponed or interrupted until completion. If a match is awarded before the full number of frames is played, bets stand if the match has started; otherwise, they are void.

Other Sports and Special Scenarios

For all sports not separately listed, settlements follow the official results published by the governing body or competition organizer. If a sport imposes a unique timing or qualification rule, that rule governs settlement for bets on that sport on Rkgg. In all cases, bets are subject to the timelines and void conditions published for the specific event and competition.
